Being a Toe Reader means that after the Toe Reading Level I class (16 hours of training) – you are eligible to Register on SWIHA’s marketing website: www.GreatTherapists.com. Toe Readers throughout the country have found this to be a great resource for building a practice.

Toe Reading is based on the theory that your body holographically records the story of your life. The position and shape of the toes say a lot about their owner. By observing someone's toes you will know a great deal about their past and the experiences they have lived through. Toes reveal how a person copes with their feelings, as well as their thoughts. Toe Reading addresses the holographic recordings on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.

What does it take to become a Toe Reader?
To begin as a Level I Toe Reader, it is as easy as completing 16 hours of training, either On campus or Online.
The first course is called RF 150 Toe Reading - Reflexology Assessment I – Elemental. It isn’t as complicated as it sounds ~ there’s just a lot to Toe Reading. The first 16 hours focus on teaching you the elemental language of Toe Reading. You will understand what areas in a person’s life all five toes represent and what the lumps, bumps and distortions in the toes suggest about a person’s life path. You will be practicing the concept ~ “Everything is Something.”
We will teach you to use advanced observation and communication skills as a way of revealing the stories the toes metaphorically tell. You will complete two short readings in the first half of the training and two longer, more comprehensive, readings by the end of the course. After the first 16 hours of training you will be ready to start reading the toes of your family and friends. You will be ready to start accepting tips, or even charging for a Toe Reading session. Marketing yourself as a Toe Reader is key, so in the first course we cover how to do this, and set you on the right path to becoming a successful Toe Reader/Soul Coach.
Why is the course called Toe Reading - Reflexology Assessment? Do you have to be a Reflexologist to be a Toe Reader?
Toe Reading has its roots in the study of Reflexology, however most people who take the Toe Reading classes at SWIHA are NOT Reflexologists, body workers or therapists of any kind. The students of Toe Reading are people who really want to understand how to relate to others on a far more personal and intimate way.
Some people become a Toe Reader just for fun and use the techniques for entertaining and delighting people with what they know or can tell. However, the majority of Toe Reading students are interested in using Toe Reading as an expansion of their business or as their business. Toe Reading can be thought of as a “bridge” to the clientele YOU wish to serve. This bridge allows holistic practitioners to build their business through events and mini sessions. Everyone is interested in Toe Reading! It can open the door to the person having additional healing work done. This bridge can dramatically assist any Healing Arts Practitioner to build a loving and profitable practice!
Who becomes a Toe Reader and what do they do with the training?
Life Coaching, Spiritual Coaching, Reflexology aligns most closely to Toe Reading. People from all walks of life have taken the Toe Reading course, including Hypnotherapists, Massage Therapists, Aestheticians, Podiatrists, Nail Technicians and Psychologists.
Once you begin taking any of the Advanced Toe Reading classes, you will develop your facilitated dialogue skills in such a way as to touch the depths of someone’s emotional and spiritual soul-self. Until you begin to sit with people in a whole new way, it hard to imagine how deep and spiritually penetrating Toe Reading can be.
The Toe Reading program at SWIHA is designed to deeply hone anyone’s intuitive abilities so that they can hold sacred space for their clients and thus assist in incredible transformation!
SWIHA has a long-standing, well-respected reflexology program which includes 60 hours of Toe Reading classes. The classes are recognized as Continuing Education classes for massage therapists, recognized by the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy and the NBMTB for CEUs as well.

Is Toe Reading a form of counseling?
Toe Readers are careful to never counsel. A trained Toe Reader is a witness to someone's story. We humbly sit at someone’s feet and hold sacred space.
A Toe Reader is always listening to the client ~ A Toe Readers is NOT a Toe Teller.
The act of listening with intention is powerful indeed! The key to a successful reading is to always quietly make observations, feel the energy in the toes, asking questions and present metaphoric connections to the person whose toes are being read. Master Toe Readers know how to move the person to action. Their skill at asking questions can propel someone rapidly into the future with integration and healing.
Do people get emotional during a Toe Reading session?
It is very common for a person to experience great emotions during a Toe Reading session because they acknowledge their story touches their very soul. A connection from sole to soul is truly what happens in a Toe Reading session. What appears to be a superficial observation can turn into a deep soul-reaching realization. Toe Reading can be a deeply spiritual experience of self-discovery and self-recovery.
It is also true that many people release the emotional energy in their bodies through a variety of ways, and not always with tears. A trained Toe Reader will have learned through SWIHA’s program how to hold space for any release that can happen in a session.
Toes may change during a session, you may feel something let go, or even find yourself singing or sounding with a client as their physical, emotional, mental or spiritual body balances out. Honor the sole to assist the client in moving forward in a new and exciting way. Connect to your inner knowing and see the world in a whole new way! Toe Reading is a great tool to shift one’s perspective.
Do the toes change?
Absolutely! Sometimes the toes can change right before your very eyes.
A trained Toe Reader will be able to note these changes and assist their client in feeling a new awareness. Toes hold energy in them, just like the rest of our body. The shape, direction, and flexibility may change and in fact, everything in a person’s perspective of their life can be different after a toe reading.
