Helping Women Embody Their Truth: Camlyn Stoeberl, Tarot Life Coach

Posted by Jade Marvin on 7/1/21 4:00 PM

Camlyn Stoeberl is a mother, Tarot Reader, Soul Guide, Life Coach, Seer, and a SWIHA great graduate. Camlyn helps support women to dive deeper into themselves and lift the spiritual veil so they can ignite parts of themselves that need healing and embody their truth.

I decided on a whim to sign up for the program. I felt confident that my spirit was guiding my journey and I wasn’t wrong. I would say the defining moment for me was when I realized that I had overcome a major hurdle in my own financial limiting beliefs that had been keeping me poor for my whole life. I began to notice that the less I worried about money the more it was always coming into my life. I knew I was on the right path when I was able to rewrite my stories in much more empowering ways that served me.”

Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming. When nothing is certain, anything is possible”. - Mandy Hale

Timing is everything. For our great graduate Lourdes Menendez, in April of 2019, had a spiritual enlightenment that eventually led her on the path to SWIHA. “On that day, a master spirit connected with me while I was working my shift as Medicaid Advocate for a local hospital. I heard a man's voice whispering "Hypnosis Class" she tells us, “I knew I was on the right path when I received the Brochures and Pamphlets from SWIHA. By touching the paper I felt positive energy. I recalled telling my husband: ‘How sad I feel for not finding this school ten years ago’ and my husband said ‘Ten years ago was not the time; the time is now’.”

Trust Your Intuition: Your Gut Knows What’s Up

Posted by Jade Marvin on 5/27/21 4:00 PM

When we look for guidance, we often look outside of ourselves for answers or to feel complete. We may feel unworthy or unprepared for answering our own questions, when in reality, the answer was within ourselves all along. Being in tune with oneself is a hard skill to master, yet a necessary one to be able to gain clarity through life’s hardships. When we draw awareness inwards and practice the art of mindfulness, we can then begin to feel supported and at peace. Like any relationship, the one we have with ourselves takes time to nourish and thrive.

Amanda Shaffie Uses Coaching to Help Others with their Goals, Purpose, Relationships and Mindset

Posted by Jade Marvin on 5/20/21 4:00 PM

We all get asked the big question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” For many, this question stays unanswered for a long time. For others, they seem to have it all figured out. The answer to this question comes at different points in life for people, and that’s okay. Your path does not have to follow a certain timeline. For Amanda Shaffie, Life Coaching was always built in for her. She asserts, “I have always enjoyed the investment in others and helping to clear a path for those to meet new opportunities and challenges that further their quality of living”.

Amanda Shaffie already had an established practice, Amanda Shaffie Life Coaching, and felt the need to continue her education, which ultimately led her to SWIHA. Amanda states, “I was curious if my methods could be expanded. With many people feeling more at ease with an accredited formal type of training, I decided to go for it. And I am glad I did”.

Holistic Health & Wellness is Self-Care for the Soul

Posted by Jade Marvin on 5/13/21 4:00 PM

Life is known to throw a few curve balls here and there. We can sometimes get swept up from underneath our feet, both literally and figuratively. Our world is then shifted upside down and the need for guidance, clarity and compassion is on our radar. Where to start? Invest in yourself.

Taking care of yourself, both mentally and physically should be a top priority, and is an essential ingredient to living a long and happy life. Investing in yourself sends a powerful message to yourself and the world around you. The message is that you value yourself enough to give the time, space and energy needed to grow and create results. Have you ever struggled with putting yourself first? Most people do. Good health is the best form of investment anyone can have.

What is the Difference Between Being an 'Advanced Yoga Practitioner' and a 'Yoga Body Psychology Practitioner'?

Posted by Mel Rhoden on 4/30/21 10:03 AM

Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) offers several different options for those seeking to become yoga teachers and those who want to further their knowledge of yoga. I recently had the privilege and opportunity to speak with Kamini Desai, long-time supporter, partner, and Yoga Nidra facilitator of SWIHA. The Yoga Body Psychology course offered at SWIHA is from the Integrative Amrit Method (IAM) created by the Desai's and the teachings of her father, Master Yogi Amrit Desai.
