DESCRIPTION:“It isn’t enough to think outside the box.  What if you start living outside the box?  Challenge yourself to do life differently!” says John Sanders\, longtime LMT and recent inductee in to the World Massage Festival Massage Hall of Fame. \nJoin an inspiring night full of innovation as John Sanders shares his experiences of box-busting!  Big ideas come from forward thinking people who challenge the norms and invent the world they want to see rather than submitting to the limitation of what has always been done. Following John Sanders’ insightful presentation\, multiple Bodyworkers demonstrate their Out-of-the-Box massage skills\, known a “Mad Skills Mania.” Feel the energy that happens when a room full of Artists shares their knowledge\, modalities and body mechanics all at the same time\, including SPECIAL GUEST\, SWIHA Founder KC Miller! \nJohn Sanders began his massage practice 30 years ago in Reno\, Nevada. Relocating to Arizona in 2001\, John established his own private practice. He is certified in Advanced Sports Massage\, Advanced Medical Massage\, Reiki Master\, along with many other modalities. John has been teaching Massage Students as an Instructor for the past 18+ years and has loved every minute being an Instructor at SWIHA. The first ever Massage Championship in the United States was organized by John Sanders\, LMT\, in 2019. Known as the Arizona Massage Championship\, it was sponsored by and held at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) in Tempe\, Arizona for the first three years (2019\, 2022 & 2023). John was inducted into the World Massage Hall of Fame for his contribution to starting a movement that led to 41 massage championships being held across America in 2023-2024. \nAfter Gifts and Graces\, come and experience a complimentary mini energy session from one of our practitioners or vendors.
