SUMMARY:December Gifts and Graces: Answer the Call
DESCRIPTION:“The Divine does not necessarily call the qualified; the called are qualified by their willingness!” \nHave you ever felt an inner knowing that you were to do something\, yet you just couldn’t quite put your finger on what that something was? Or\, have you ever known what you were called to do\, yet question why you were called\, or if you were really qualified to answer the call? \nYou are not alone! Many people experience an inner itch or urge to step up to a higher calling\, yet find themselves questioning! Will Zecco and KC Miller have experienced this exact thing\, and have figured out how to step beyond confusion or the “imposter syndrome.” Join them for Gifts and Graces as they share five very specific steps for getting out of your own way\, how to tune into what’s really true for you and the prayer to use for continued\, on-going guidance. There will be song\, laughter and affirmations\, along with a Reiki blessing! \nPS – If you are a Reiki Practitioner\, please join us to offer the guest of Gifts and Graces a blessing of prosperity and protection. \nWill Zecco has answered many calls in his life\, from hairdresser to Singer to Director of Yoga Student Services; Will has felt the fear and questioned his calling. On each step of reinventing himself\, there has been a lesson in building resiliency\, developing emotional intelligence and self-awareness\, and cultivating a growth mindset to get beyond adversity and stress. \nKC Miller was a farmer’s daughter\, with a bad case of dyslexia growing up\, who started her career selling grain bins in northern Colorado. There was nothing that technically qualified her to start a nationally accredited college that became approved by the US Department of education\, yet she was willing! She firmly that ‘there is a plan’ for every soul here on earth\, there are no extra souls\, and that we will be shown the way when we listen with our heart. \nAfter Gifts and Graces\, come and experience a mini energy session from one of our practitioners or vendors. Toe Reading\, Reiki\, Tarot Reading\, Polarity\, Coaching and more will be available. Gratuities are suggested. \n**This is a complimentary in-person and FB Live event**\nRSVP to Attend in Person at rsvp@swiha.edu\nJoin us on Facebook Live the day of the event

SUMMARY:January Gifts & Graces: Empowering your Mind
DESCRIPTION:Rumi says\, “what you seek is seeking you”… perhaps it’s true. The evidence of the power of our minds is undeniable. The ancient texts of the Buddha tell us that no external condition can be the cause of our happiness; only the mind has that ability. When people clearly understand how they are influenced\, the root causes of struggle and what we can do with our minds to make things better are revealed. The result is sustainable happiness and radiant joy. \nAs a Buddhist monk\, Bhante Sujatha has lived a life dedicated to the cultivation of mind and heart. He has been given a front row seat to the incredible transformations that have developed within so many people that he has taught through his experience on how to empower their minds. \nCultivating these qualities will help you to find strength and happiness\, as well as nurture in you a burning desire to add more love to the world. When we understand our mind\, we begin to re-shape our behavior and feelings about so many things. It’s the most loving act of service one can do for themselves and the world. \n*Choose Loving-Kindness Items and Bhante’s publications will be available for purchase on site\, and Bhante will be available for book signing following the program. Proceeds from all sales go directly toward supporting Bhante Sujatha’s charitable work in Sri Lanka and around the globe. \nAbout Bhante:\nBhante Sujatha\, a 40+ years Buddhist Monk\, is singularly focused on adding more love in the world. Bhante teaches loving-kindness meditation to people around the globe for all those seeking the art of happiness and contentment. His approach to meditation is deep and simple\, bringing core Buddhist teachings to everyone in a way that is practical and easy to understand. A joyful\, radiant\, funny and wildly energetic monk\, Bhante will help you obtain peace that can only be found in deep silence. Bhante believes his purpose is not only to teach meditation\, but also\, “teaching people how to be happy.” For more information visit Bhante’s website www.bhantesujatha.org \nAfter Gifts and Graces\, come and experience a mini energy session from one of our practitioners or vendors. Toe Reading\, Reiki\, Tarot Reading\, Polarity\, Coaching and more will be available. Gratuities are suggested. \n**This is a complimentary in-person/FB Live event**\nRSVP to Attend in Person at rsvp@swiha.edu\nJoin us on Facebook Live the day of the event
