Our Western Herbalism program at SWIHA is renowned for its focus on native flora and sustainable wild crafting practices. As a member of the American Herbalists Guild, we are committed to promoting clinical herbalism as a respected profession built on ethics, competency, diversity, and freedom of practice. JoAnn Sanchez, our Program Director, is a seasoned Herbalist, Educator, and advocate for the Earth. With over 38 years of experience in the herbal industry and a background in Natural Resource Development and Botany, Ms. Sanchez brings a wealth of knowledge to our program.
