Join us at our November 4th – Keynote Speaker Shelley Tom, Dean of Students at SWIHA.
There is POWER in Gratitude!
As a trained Counselor, Shelley Tom has come to understand the power and transformation of gratitude! Join us in looking at thankfulness in ways you may have never consciously thought of before as Shelley takes us on a journey rooted in neuroscience. Come explore what gratitude is, why it works so powerfully, and the way to manifest its many blessings in your everyday life.
The act of ‘giving thanks’ has an energetic effect in your life physically, mentally, and spiritually. Through the lens of neuroscience, Shelley will explain how gratitude is actually ‘a way of life’ and the pathway to true contentment and happiness. Learn how to create an effective ‘attitude of gratitude’ and manifest the changes you seek for your life through the exploration of effective journaling, the power of repetition, and other applicable techniques.
Shelley first attended SWIHA 23 years ago, when it was SWIM: Southwest Institute of Myotherapy, and she graduated with the very first massage class the college offered. After completing the massage program, she completed her B.S. in Psychology at ASU. During that time, she also worked at PTMC (the sister school to SWIM/SWIHA) where she served as the Student Massage Clinic Manager, as well as was Admissions Director. Shelley’s training changed the way she looked at the world and how she understood the ‘mind-body-spirit’ connection. Shelley always shows up for others, knowing that her work needs to be meaningful. It is so important to her to be able do her work from her ‘heart-space’, which is exactly how she will show up for next month’s G & G.
Complimentary sessions offered after 7:30pm include: Life Coaching, Toe Reading and Energy Therapies
