Reflexology Specialty Certificate of Excellence – 120 hours –On-Campus – Tuition Also known as zone therapy, Reflexology is based on the principle that an image of the body is represented on the face, ears, hands, and feet. Reflexologists apply pressure to these areas with specific thumb and finger techniques. By pressing or stimulating a specific zone, the flow of energy, blood, nutrients, and nerve reflexes are restored and balanced. Although it is an excellent complement to massage therapy, reiki, or cranial unwinding, to become a Reflexologist you do not need to be certified or licensed in another modality. Nearly seven years ago, Kristin and her family moved to Arizona for her husband’s new job, leaving her family and old life behind in Boca Raton, Florida. On the outside, she had it all: a loving husband, four beautiful and healthy children, a large home and many friend — and yet, as Kristin revealed, she felt like she had no idea who she was as a person. A Journey from Pain to Empowerment

Like many massage therapists and massage enthusiasts, Ronna Everhart found massage after decades of discomfort and chronic pain. At 12 years old, she chipped her tailbone in an accident. “I broke my bum!” she exclaims with a laugh. Although she is full of laughter and smiles now, most of her life consisted of pain and discomfort. Between the ages of 19 to 24, Ronna gave birth to three children, which really did a number on her low back. She became dependent on over the counter medicine, such as Ibuprofen daily, to alleviate her pain, yet it wasn’t enough. Chiropractors, and even the occasional glass or two of wine, to relax the muscles proved futile as well.
